A woman's song

On this Women's Day, I am sharing a personal reflection on my ongoing journey to understand the essence of womanhood.



In every woman, a world does dwell,

With roles she plays, she does excel.

 

As daughter, she brings joy and cheer,

Her laughter, like music, sweet and clear.

An adolescent, strong and bold,

Facing life's storms, her spirit holds.

Womanhood's mantle, she wears with pride,

In her love and care, hearts find a guide.

 

Motherhood, a journey of sacrifice and love,

Enduring childbirth, she rises above.

A creator of life, a nurturer divine,

In her embrace, new worlds entwine.

 

As a grandmother, she imparts wisdom old,

In her stories, she shares the lessons untold.

Love and care, in her embrace,

Generations find their rightful place.

 

But beyond these roles, she's herself,

With dreams and fears, in her heart's delve.

Ambitions, wishes, and aspirations strong,

In her essence, her spirit belongs.

 

So let's celebrate her, loud and clear,

For her strength and love, let's cheer.

In her simplicity, she's a wonder to see,

A woman, in all her beauty and glee.

  घर क्या है ?  घर कहाँ है ?   शायद वो यादों की गलियों में कहीं छिपा है।     घर क्या होता है ?   वो जो छोड़ते ही दिल में टीस उठती है ,   दिल  भारी हो जाता है।     पर तब क्या , जब इस घर से निकलने पर भी टीस हो ,   और जिस जगह जाना है , वहाँ पहुँचने की बेचैनी भी ?   तब क्या , जब घर एक से दो , दो से तीन हो जाए ,   और तुम अपना एक टुकड़ा वहाँ छोड़ आओ ,   जहाँ रहना ही नहीं।   टीस तो तब भी रहती है।     छोटे शहर से आने वाले ,   अपनी छोटी - सी दुनिया कहीं पीछे छोड़ आते हैं।   जीवन में सफलता की तलाश में , कहीं दूर निकल जाते हैं।   लौटने की चाह तो होती है , पर समय नहीं।   और देखते ही देखते , घर दूर कहीं पीछे छूट जाता है।   अब तो सिर्फ कुछ दिनों के लिए लौटते हैं ,   दीवाली की मिठाइयाँ खाने ,   और फिर वापस नए घोंसलो...
